Q. Can I take any VUE exam at the Great Plains Technology Center?
A. Although we offer many exams, not all VUE exams are available at this facility. It is advised that you call the numbers listed below to check for specific test availability.

Q. Are the exams on the VUE system different?
A. No, the exams are exactly the same. They look the same and are scored the same. The difference is in the great service and convenience you'll experience before and after you take your exam.

Q. I have already taken exams with another test delivery provider. Can I finish my certification with VUE?
A. Yes. Every exam you take with VUE is merged with the sponsor's test history data.

Q. Are the exams at VUE priced the same as anywhere else?
A. The exam sponsors set the prices, so prices at VUE authorized test centers are the same as at all other test centers.

Q. How do I purchase and register for a VUE exam?
A. The first step is to purchase a VUE exam voucher. Several web sites such as PrepLogic, GetCertify4Less or CIW offer options to purchase VUE exam vouchers. Please note that it may take 6-24 hours after your purchase to actually receive your voucher number(s) from these vendors. You MUST have a voucher number before calling to schedule a test.

NOTE: We DO NOT accept ProMetric vouchers. If you purchase a ProMetric voucher, the closest testing site is in Oklahoma City.

Only after you receive your voucher number(s),  may you register to take your exam(s) at the Great Plains Technology Center. No exam registration information will be taken over the phone unless you have your voucher information. Please call 580-250-5667 or 580-250-5665 to find out what specifc tests are available, as well as what testing dates and times are scheduled each month. Registration MUST be completed at least TWO days in advance of the scheduled testing date - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Exams are proctored in Building 300, Room 312B. You will need two forms of identification and one form must be a photo ID. Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled test time to assure entry into the exam room. Once the exam has started, entry into the exam room will NOT be permitted and you have forfeited your voucher. Arriving late for a test or not showing up at all will require you to purchase a new voucher and for you to call and reschedule for the next available test.

All electronic devices (cell phones, pagers, ipods, mp3 players, pdas, cameras, watches, etc.) are strictly prohibited in the testing facility. Great Plains Technology Center is NOT responsible for lost or stolen personal property left unsecured in the testing facility and/or vicinity.
